Dr. Wasana Jayawickramarathna
PhD, MBA, BBMgt (Hons)
Wasana Jayawickramarathna has over 15 years of experience in teaching and academic research, both locally and internationally. She holds a PhD in marketing from RMIT University, with a published thesis on social marketing, specifically on Bottom of the Pyramid consumer markets. Wasana has also completed a Bachelor of Business Management, with a specialisation in Marketing, and a Master of Business Administration, prior to obtaining her PhD. Her experience in teaching a wide array of subjects across marketing and management disciplines, along with her interactions with diverse student groups, fosters a strong belief that every student possesses the ability to thrive in the classroom. Wasana’s research interests include consumer behaviour, social marketing, marketing research, and corporate social responsibility.
