Assessment

Examinations

Examinations form an important part of assessment at Adelaide Institute of Higher Education and provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and achievement of subject learning outcomes.

An important part of teaching, learning and assessment

AIHE recognises assessment as an essential part of the teaching and learning process and conducts examinations to allow staff at AIHE to measure the attainment of specific subject learning outcomes and graduate attributes by students.

It is a requirement that all students are familiar with and follow the set rules for examinations as described in the Examinations Procedure document and listed at each examination venue.

Detailed examination rules will be posted outside each examination venue. Students are responsible for understanding and complying with the examination requirements that apply to them.
