Lisa Sofia is the Student Experience Coordinator at AIHE. Lisa has been working in education for over eight years in a range of roles, including student advisor roles, academic services roles and teaching roles. Lisa’s current work in the International Education sector is complemented by her interest in the learning of language. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree, majoring in Italian Studies from the University of South Australia. She went on to pursue her interest in languages after moving to Italy to explore its culture and teach English as a second language. In addition to her honours degree, Lisa holds CELTA certification in the teaching of English. Lisa also has background in the commercial sector with experience across administration, risk management and customer service. She maintains her interest in the international space through her work at AIHE, working with international students to provide an optimal living and learning experience.
