Chowdhury Ahmed Shamim has extensive experience in teaching, achieving government research grants, and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Shamim's research interests include brand and category growth and decline across various conditions, social media marketing, AI in marketing, category concentration, pricing, promotions, AI in advertising private/ manufacturing label brands, and consumer psychology. Prior to his academic career, Shamim spent four years as a Senior Executive in Business Development within the airline and freight forwarding sectors. In this role, he honed his skills in marketing, sales, project coordination, and stakeholder management, working with diverse teams across Europe and Southeast Asia.
Shamim holds a Master's in Research in Marketing and a Bachelor's in Business Administration with dual majors in Finance and Human Resource Management. He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of South Australia.
