Nayomi Wijesinghe is an academic with over 19 years of experience in higher education. She holds a PhD from Swinburne University of Technology, a Bachelor of Business Management in Accounting, an MBA in Finance, and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. Nayomi currently lectures in Accounting, Finance, and Economics and has extensive experience in academic administration. She is passionate about student-centred learning, which fosters deeper engagement, enhances critical thinking, and empowers students to take ownership of their learning journey.

Her research interests include corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and integrated reporting. She also serves as a reviewer for the Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal.
